Case Study Overview

Customer: Titan

Products/Services used: Horizontal tire racks and display racks for car rims

TITAN GMA SA is one of the largest tire dealers in Brussels, thanks to the various subsidiaries they have founded.

The requirement:

Following continued company growth, TITAN needed more storage capacity for the tire and rim stock at their new subsidiary, based in Berchem St Agathe.

TITAN’s partnership with Dexion began in 2011 when Dexion first provided fully optimized storage solutions for its various tire branches in and around Brussels.

Dexion solution:

After many years of working with TITAN, the Dexion team was enlisted to create and install a classic tire storage solution with multiple storage levels and a separate fully customized display display wall for car rims.

An LS2 Longspan installation proved to be the best solution due to its stability, sleek appearance, and the ability to accommodate seven levels.

The Dexion team also created a custom, 10-level display wall to showcase the various types of rims while providing a excellent overall view of the product range.

The result:

The branches are all now furnished with either Longspan racking or pallet racking, which provide the ultimate tire storage solution. The combined capacity of the various subsidiaries currently represents a storage of approximately 20,000 tires and 2,700 rims.

“For almost 10 years and for all our subsidiaries, Dexion has provided us with the right storage solution for our products and our different environments. Dexion is a serious, trusted, and efficient partner that offers quality products for life,” says Mehmet Gurlek, TITAN GMA owner.
